14th August 2024 - New App build - update on release date.

In a previous post we advised that we are building a new App version, to upgrade and return the App to its previous levels of accuracy and reliability. We advised how recent Apple side changes to iOS had negatively affected our tracking processes and iOS was independently removing App access to background tracking.

Our next App verison (excludes bug fix updates) will use server technology to communicate with the App and deliver regular locations. However, to achieve this we require approval from Apple. At the time of writing we have been waiting for 6 weeks for a response from Apple. We hope they will respond and approve our proposals soon.

This delay is frustrating for us and our customers, but we will continue to work to bring you this new version as soon as possible.
